THE STORY
SEW Uganda (Sustainably Empowering Women), works in Lira, Uganda to empower women and their families to generate an income and support their families. The sale of these crafts provides for business capital grants to empower these ladies to set up the business of their choosing.
THE DETAILS
12.5cm x 14.5cm
Created using recycled bottle tops collected from the SEW Community Cafe and local eateries. The ladies then collect scrap kitenge from their own cut offs and the tailors yard in Lira and use them to cover the bottle tops, binding them together with fishing wire for durability.
THIS IS A HANDMADE PRODUCT
This isn't mass produced, this is made by hand in small batches. As a result it may vary slightly from the pictures, but hey, we think that's all part of the fun; your product will be unique! As these are made of scraps each is a little different.

Items will be shipped within 1-2 business days with free UK delivery on orders over £50. Choose standard or express at checkout.
Please note import duty and taxes may apply on orders to outside of the UK.
We are able to accept returns within 30 days with the exception of earrings (for hygiene reasons). You are responsible for return postage costs and any loss in value if an item isn't returned in original condition.
